SB21-137 Behavioral Health Recovery Act (Petterson, Jenet, Kennedy)
https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb21-137
OPPOSE
This is a large expansion of sharing data from CIIS that undermines public trust without clear limits of not sharing or giving access to PII. It is an over step and runs contrary to what lawmakers stated, last year, to parents that CIIS is secure and “confidential”. Section 14, page 13 is selling health data, and health data is the new commodity.
